Rice Crispy Ice Cream Dessert

1 ½ cups brown sugar
1 ½ cubes margarine
1 ½ cups walnuts, cut small
1 ½ cups coconut
3 cups Rice Krispies
½ gallon vanilla ice cream

Melt margarine, put brown sugar in, stir, add nuts and coconut and Rice Krispies. Put ½ of mixture into a cake pan. Cut vanilla ice cream into 7 bricks…layer over crust letting soften only so you can smooth together the edges over the crust and then put remaining brown sugar mixture on top; pat down. Cover with aluminum foil; freeze. Top with Danish dessert; make like sauce. Serve warm over fresh or frozen strawberries. This is better if made ahead. Keeps well in the freezer.

Danish Dessert

1 pkg dry punch powder, any flavor
1 ¾ cups water
1 cup sugar
3 to 4 TBSP corn starch

Stir constantly over medium high heat, until thick and bubbly. Cool; add fruit and serve over desired dessert.
