Cut the following into small pieces and boil until almost done. Do not over cook.
1 cup celery
1 cup carrots
2 cups potatoes
Drain and add,
1 cup peas or 1 package peas
2 cups cooked chicken
Sauce
½ cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup flour
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 ½ cups chicken broth
¾ cup milk
Make a rue with butter and flour. Stir in chicken broth and milk, add salt and pepper. Cook until it thickens. Pour over drained vegetables and chicken. Pour entire mixture into a 13X9 pan and top with your favorite pie crust recipe or a box pie crust from the store. Bake at 350 until pie crust is done.
